Teaching and learning ‘TEEN’ numbers can be tricky for everyone and just when you think your kids have ‘Got it!’ they go realise that they are totally confused about them because they think thirty and thirteen are the same!!! So to help with all the confusions about teaching the numbers 11-20, we have made some excellent activities that are heavily focussed on using place value to build solid understandings.
Using Place value to learn the numbers 11-19 helps to wipe out confusions between teen and ty numbers so there will be no more hesitation about the numbers 30, 31, 13, 31!
