Download our FREE Christmas Chain Calendar Template and create a Festive Advent Calendar for your classroom this December. With this free advent calendar template, your students will make a countdown to Christmas and remove a link each day.

The pack includes both colour and black and white templates that your students can decorate all you need to do is decide which version you’re going to use. The advent calendar is constructed of 2 parts:

1. Brick Chimney Topper
2. 24 Countdown Chains

Once printed the students start by making the chimney stack. To make the chimney, roll the brick designed template to create a chimney stack. It is decorated with a Santa sack and presents and a set of Santa legs that are attached to look like Santa’s stuck in the chimney.

To create the countdown chain, print the template onto colour paper, we used green and red to make the design festive. Next fill in the gap with a number countdown “______ sleeps ’til Christmas”
